${image /tmp/conkyCover.png -s 90x82 -p 21,745}
"-p" = position x,y.
Edit that part at the end of the...
To get the image you need;
a) conky-colors, which includes the cd-case icons
b) a conky version with imlib2 support (check with "conky -v"), in karmic the version required is "conky-all".

I added some new albums to the library and obtained their lyrics in quayadeque, using the default server.
The lyrics were saved to the id3 tags and display perfectly using guayadeque or other linux...
First of all congratulations on a job well done.
I can't even remember how long I've looking for a linux player like this one.
A few feature requests;
1) More formatting options for lyrics...
It has become quite cramped, but I love the torrent of information.
One highlight are the usage statistics of my intel ssd at the bottom of the "memory - hdd" section, obtained via iostat and...
I have it placed under the path, so I just add:
${execpi 5 guayCover}
to .conkyrc, where 5 is the update interval in seconds.
Alternatively replace guayCover with a full path.
I'll repeat...
Great work :KS
Mediamonkey is my golden standard for media management and this is as close as I've ever come with a linux app.
Any thoughts on integrating some kind of format conversion?
Just...
First install the compiz configuration manager.

It's a 160GB G2 with the latest firmware and I've done *everything*.
The trim-enabled firmwares also increase the write speed of 160GB G2s from 80MB/s to ~100MB/s, I also had a cap at ~85MB/s...

You will want to align the partitions on the ssd - something not required on a hdd.
I'm not sure if that's possible with clonezilla and I think that it will destroy any pre-existing alignment.
I...
A few reasons;
1) I mostly work away from home connected to networks with varied protocols and *wildly* varying security.
That is not in any way a windows-friendly environment and the security...
Can't say I have an issue like that.
The first time I open a folder with lots of pictures results in a cpu-induced delay until all thumbnails are produced - you could enable the system monitor...
I'm using that and it works just fine.
Issues with no-backfill are the same as they were in jaunty; huge memory leak and occasional garbage on screen.
To "fix" the memory leak I have the system...
Well everything works for me, but I fixed the ati driver differently.
For starters I booted to root terminal and ran "aticonfig --initial", followed by "aticonfig --acpi-services=off".
It threw...

Wow, if I'm reading this right you don't have a fully loaded desktop even after 90s, gnome-panel starts loading at 84s.
- Your hdd looks way way too slow even for a notebook drive, is it a 4200rpm...
Folks you might want to upload your bootcharts somewhere else and link to them.
It seems the forum automatically converts/resizes the attached huge png bootcharts to completely unreadable jpgs.

Well yeah, but it's *much* easier to google for their results.
In my case I verified my diskmark (ntfs) vs that of other intel g2 users (ntfs) vs my iozone (ext4) - they all agree, which is good....
