    Missing taskbar

I did an Update Manager update and when I restarted, the taskbar at the top of the screen was gone. How do I get it back?

Right click on the bottom panel and select New panel ( if needed, add lost applets ).

Thanks for the advice, but there is no panel at the bottom to right click on. Right click just gets me desktop settings.
