Just installed the new ubuntu 10.04 and I'm loving everything...... except I cant seem to get my graphics card to work!

    Code:
    ~$ lspci | grep VGA

I tried the drivers from the repos and then I downloaded the one from the ATI site this is what i got
    Code:
    kaneda@kaneda-laptop:~$ cd /home/kaneda/Desktop
    kaneda@kaneda-laptop:~/Desktop$ chmod +x ati.run
    kaneda@kaneda-laptop:~/Desktop$ sudo ./ati.run
    [sudo] password for kaneda:
    Created directory fglrx-install.WkvwaW

You can't use any of the fglrx drivers -- no matter where you get them from. ATI dropped fglrx support for this card over a year ago.

The only drivers that will work with this card and recent Ubuntu versions are the open source drivers -- and those are installed by default.
    Ubuntu 20.04, Mint 19.10; MS Win10 Pro.
Will not respond to PM requests for support -- use the forums.

    You can try to download

    http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownloa...pe=Linux%20x86

and then install the drivers for package Ubuntu
    check --help when installing ...
